Together Harrison and I start our mornings watching a quick episode of Disney’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” I’ll happily watch him clap, smile, and dance around in excitement whenever it comes on the TV. If you’re ever over for breakfast, you’ll bear witness to me singing the tune:
“It’s the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, come inside, it’s fun inside. It’s the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Roll call…”
In fact, I bust out this tune at the best of times and even at the worst of times (currently: the dreaded diaper change.)
With his love for Mickey Mouse in full bloom, we decided to say to Harrison those magical words, “WE ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!!”
For our 1st family trip to Dland, we took advantage of the SoCal resident passes and enjoyed two days at the happiest place on earth. Here are some of my favorite pictures:
As you can see, we were all smiles :). We proudly walked around Disneyland with our monogrammed mouse ears, enjoyed the toddler-friendly rides in Fantasyland, ran a muck in Mickey’s Toontown, saw an afternoon show, and in the early evening watched a parade complete with my own Disney idol, Ariel.
The day’s adventure was a complete success and we were itching for our second day to begin. With that said, tomorrow I’ll be sharing our second half of our Disneyland trip; plus helpful tips that made the two days a success.
As Mickey Mouse would say, “See you real soon!”
